From Tennessee TAP and the Signal Centers in southeastern TN
is a TN TAP partner that runs AT Regional Centers and carries devices
for demos to homes and workplaces as needed. The Signal Centers have
created portable units tailored to different disabilities.
At least 4 to 6 different systems to demonstrate with the following features:
- Different vocabulary representations: words and pictures and different language organizations;
Systems having different access methods with
adjustable settings: switch, mouse, touch, and keyguards;
- Table mount for systems.
Switches: a large variety of different types of single switches;
Mice: a large variety of different types of mice for access to the communication systems.
- Regular optical mouse
- Joystick mice—different types
- Rocket mouse
- Head mouse
- Trackball mice—different types
- Dowels, hand splints and pointers for touch access
