Perhaps we are starting an app demo-access movement! Susan LaSante, who is a member of the Massachusetts AT Advisory Committee, is also making an app available for free to demo/loan libraries nationwide. [Also check out this December 1, 2011 free app post.] LaSante developed PhotoTell for a particular student who is motivated to communicate through the use of photographs (the student takes herself) that are then linked to voice messages (recorded by her mother). LaSante is inspired by her success with this student, and writes that she is also available to adapt the software for a particular individual's needs. A PhotoTell Lite version will soon be available free to everyone at the iTunes apps store, however demo/loan centers may have the full version to trial with clients. Interested? Email Susan LaSante
